March 2, 2010 – Special Meeting

Council Members Present: N. Jennings, R. Gentner, T. Cameron, K. Garey, C. Williams,

R. Knowlton, and H. Dickerson.

MOTION for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Council will voluntarily reduce meeting stipend by one half and continue to have two regular meetings per month. Roll Call: Ayes: 7, Nays: 0, Absent: 0. Motion carried.

MOTION to accept memo of recommendations as a way of working toward cutting costs.

Roll Call: Ayes: 7, Nays: 0, Absent: 0. Motion carried.

March 9, 2010 – Regular Meeting

Council Members Present: N. Jennings, R. Gentner, T. Cameron, K. Garey, C. Williams,

R. Knowlton, and H. Dickerson.

MOTION amend budget as discussed – decrease property tax revenue and increase cash reserve expenses.  Roll Call: Ayes: 7, Nays: 0, Absent: 0. Motion carried.

MOTION to pay the bills. Roll Call: Ayes: 7, Nays: 0, Absent: 0. Motion carried.

March 23, 2010 – Regular Meeting

Council Members Present: N. Jennings, R. Gentner, T. Cameron, K. Garey, R. Knowlton,

and H. Dickerson.

MOTION that Village agrees to transfer Senior Center to SCOA for $1.00 subject to the 2010 SCOA millage passing and a reversionary clause in the transferring deed. Funds donated for roof repairs will be transferred to SCOA’s Morrice Site Committee if SCOA millage passes and transfer of deed occurs. Roll Call: Ayes: 6, Nays: 0, Absent: 1. Motion carried.

MOTION to approve partitioning of Lots #1 and #2, and Outlot #1, all within the plat of Isaac Gale’s Addition to the Village. Roll Call: Ayes: 6, Nays: 0, Absent: 1. Motion carried.
